"Your mother wished you to marry?"
Kate sipped the hot tea Teyla had prepared and nodded. "Very much so. Every time I went home, she'd be on at me about settling down. She kept trying to set me up with her friends' sons. It was embarrassing. And if I so much as mentioned a guy's name, I'd get the third degree: what did he do, and was he was married and was I going to date him? I sometimes think I came to Pegasus to get away from all that!" She grinned at Teyla. "Never imagined I'd find happy-ever-after here."
