Oh no worries on the "lateness" of the feedback: any comments, whenever they're made, are always appreciated - and unexpected ones doubly so!

Thanks for the kind words - knowing I've got the tone and characters right means a lot to me, as it's something I care about a great deal.

Scribblesinink and I are writing separate stories rather than co-writing, but the idea is that the stories should be read together to get the "complete picture" of how things are evolving in our 'verse, and we refer to events in each other's stories. Or we will do - we both have stories we're working on right now that are "interleaved", in that hers cover what happens to Jake, Hawkins and Chavez in Texas, and mine covers what happens to everyone else back in Jericho, and events in her story influence events in mine and vice versa.

Of course, she's also had a tremendous impact on my thinking about how events would play out - we've spent hours discussing this stuff! - so she's had a lot of input into my stories plot, characterization and motivation-wise. I couldn't do this without her!
