Hmm, I didn't intend for it to be tense and bitter. :-(

I guess I always see some tension for Faramir between his duties as Steward and as Prince, but I don't think he resents attending Aragorn's court. And I can see Aragorn wanting to celebrate with Faramir the way Faramir celebrated with him and perhaps being a little frustrated that duty prevents him.
