Thanks - it was actually pretty tricky to make the orc quite so despairing when Sauron's will was removed. Orcs have always seemed pretty aggressive even without Sauron directing them strongly. Although I guess before Sauron, they were filled with Morgoth's will....

Hmm, I wonder if the Orcs were much milder and better behaved at the start of the Second Age, between Morgoth's overthrow and the forging of the One Ring, when Sauron would have had less power/control over them.
