Day 29:
dkpalaska was hopeful there'd be more Imrahil, while
rakshathedemon asked for Faramir's early weapons training (when he's quite young, I imagine). And
scribblesinink never objects to a glimpse of Boromir....
Mentor
Faramir was standing on tiptoe to peer into the practice yard, where Boromir was drilling with other boys his age. Crossing over to him, Imhrahil lifted him up and set him on the wall. "Better?"
Faramir nodded, his eager gaze fixed on Boromir as the older boy swung his practice sword, the soft thwack of wood against wood filling the air.
Imrahil's lips twitched. "Come, lad." Lifting Faramir down, he walked him to the equipment store and selected the smallest blade—only a little too large. Faramir's eyes gleamed as Imrahil wrapped his fingers around the hilt. "See, hold it so...."
