The muse works in mysterious ways. scribblesinink wrote a very nice drabble this morning (and I mean very nice - a dammit, I wish I'd written that! kind of drabble *g*). I got to thinking about how scribblesinink doesn't write drabbles very much, and even when she does, they're often double drabbles. Like her Any Means Necessary. At which point, the muse snuck up to me and dumped a plotbunny in my lap to retell the events in Any Means Necessary from Jake's point of view.

And so this was born....
