The Impossibility Of Being
When he heard the news, he felt... regret. A galaxy apart, a lifetime in combat, ten years in the madhouse of SGC had made him temper his feelings. But part of him cried out he would have liked more time, more opportunity, more....
When her effects were shipped back from Atlantis, he told himself it was to be expected... even as he watched all the way along the passage while Harriman wheeled them away.
And yet, and yet.... A flame burned on in a corner of his heart, because ten years in SGC had taught him stranger things could happen....
