Day 341: Summer Idyll

rakshathedemon asked for Elfwine and Elboron (possibly Eldarion too) doing something together as boys or young men AND I DON'T MEAN SLASH (sorry, no flames intended, but I didn't want my suggestion misunderstood).

Once I'd got over my giggles (but {{{hugs}}} to rakshathedemon - I so understand where you're coming from!) I produced this:

Day 341

Summer Idyll

The first day, Elboron and Elfwine simply flung themselves into the water, sporting in the waves like dolphins, before coming home damp and tired and sand-smeared.

The second day, they took a boat and rowed out to dive the nearer reefs, lithe bodies flashing amongst quick-moving fish and coloured corals.

On the third day, they wandered along the shore, peering into rock pools and collecting mussels and razor-shell clams to cook over driftwood as night fell.

The end of the fourth day saw a network of dams, channels and moated fortifications stretching from cliff edge to where cream-crested waves broke....
