The World Is Changing
Elrohir found his brother leaning against a pillar near the main door, frowning as he gazed at the track that ran down into the valley and crossed the slender bridge arching over the Loudwater.
“Is aught amiss?”
Elladan smiled ruefully and shook his head. “Nay. I was merely thinking of all the times Estel staggered down that path, worn out after some dangerous errand.”
“In need of a hearty meal, a good night's sleep – and a long bath!” Elrohir quipped.
Elladan sighed. “No more Heirs to foster....”
Elrohir reached out a hand and squeezed Elladan's shoulder. “I miss him too.”
