Random Update
Mar. 11th, 2010 09:18 pm1. OTW is having another membership drive (so, you know, we can continue to "own the servers" for An Archive of Our Own, and fight the corner for fannish creativity against Overmighty Media Companies, and all that other good stuff).

2. My
au_bigbang story is currently at 11200 words, and seems to be on track. \0/ It's the first long time-travel story I've ever written and it's been a lot of fun playing with the time travel elements and seeing how the 'verse keeps wanting to refer back to/revert to the canon one.
3. I have written most of a story for
celli's 2010 taxfic challenge. Because if your canon has an IRS Agent as a main character, how can you not write taxfic?
4.
scribblesinink lemminged me into Yet Another Obscure Fandom. *sigh* This is the third time she's done this, and that makes her Officially Evil.
5. The 45,000-word Longest Ever Story is sitting on my hard drive doing the equivalent of tapping its fingers and asking when I'm going to write those final missing bits, edit it and get it ready for beta/posting.
scribblesinink is actually doing those things (well, not sure if she's tapping her fingers or not). But... eek! The prospect of editing something that long is scary. Plus I need more hours in the day....
6. I'm contemplating a Tolkien mini daily drabblefest lasting a month (probably in May). I realized today that I have not written any Tolkien drabbles for about a year and that made me sad. So... are my Tolkien-loving flisters interested in prompting me/reading the results?
