Netherlands holiday – part 1
Oct. 19th, 2014 06:06 pmI recently spent a couple of weeks on holiday staying with
scribblesinink in the Netherlands. She was a fabulous host and I had a wonderful trip. The weather wasn't terribly good on some days, but it was absolutely fantastic for most of the time (especially considering this was the last week of September and first week in October). I even had to ask Scribbler to break out the sun block on one day (I burn stupidly easily), as I hadn't thought it worth packing anyway.
On the days that weren't so great, we spent time some plotting what I hope will be my next novel-length fic, using Scribbler's Whiteboard-of-Doom (TM). This was entirely self-interested on Scribbler's part, as she came up with the plotbunny, and the eventual story is likely to include lots of element that she'll find id-pleasing. :-)
Under the cuts are some more details and pictures from the very many nice places we visited.
( Zwolle )
( Stadspark )
( Buitenpost )
More parts and pictures will follow when I've had a chance to sort through the photos and write something about them!
