Day 15:
telperion1 asked for Alternative points of view not seen in the book about events surrounding The Hobbit.
Alone, and in bear's shape
Tidings travelled through the forest, carried by the Woodmen, of the fall of the dragon. Down from the North, passed from sure-footed goats in the Grey Mountains to fleet-footed deer in the Vale, came news of the gathering of the Goblins and their march east. And Beorn sat in his hall, drinking the old year's mead and pondering the tales.
With a growl, he set down his tankard and made for the door. It was a long way to the Mountain, and it would take all his bear's strength and swiftness, but where the Goblins went, there they'd find Beorn.
