Edward, in the aftermath of Tewksbury, had not been able to rest. William, Bastard of Fauconberg (a member of the Neville family), with some of Warwick's former soldiers and sailors, and commons from Kent and Essex, in May launched belated, powerful but unsuccessful assaults on London. Edward had to secure the capital (where Henry perished on the night of his arrival), and advance into Kent, to suppress the embers of rebellion.

(OK, so it was the third nearest book because the two nearest were a thesaurus and a dictionary, which wouldn't have been much use for this. From which you may infer that I have a taste for mediaeval history as background research for some of my fanfiction. *g*)
