Hidden Treasure

"It is very pretty," Teyla held up the elaborately-fashioned box and turned it around, "but what is it?"

"It's an Easter egg."

"Easter?"

"It's this holiday we have. Kinda like Christmas, except it commemorates Jesus's resurrection rather than his birth."

"Resurrection?" Teyla was still examining the package. "This Jesus had an eventful life."

Kate smiled. "That he did. The egg's really more of an ancient symbol of spring and rebirth rather than anything to do with Jesus." She coughed gently. "Uh... there's chocolate inside the foil."

"Why did you not say so before?" Teyla eagerly began to unwrap the package.

hehehehhee.... Easter eggs... love Easter eggs... 'specially chocolate ones ;)

hehehe - chocolate Easter eggs seem to be more of a European thing than a US thing, but you do have them in the US, so I thought I could get away with this. ;-)

And yeah, I like them too!
