"Stop that!"

Kate caught John's wrist as he tried again to tickle her. With a hiss of annoyance, she snagged a scarf that lay discarded on the nightstand. A few quick twists and she had secured his wrists to the railing at the top of the bed.

"Hey!" He pulled against the bindings but – dammit, she knew her knots. "Uh, we really should talk about this...."

"Oh, now you're co-operative?" Kate ran a finger down his chest and he shivered. He saw her hesitate. "Sorry, if you don't...."

"No." He licked his lips. "I, uh, I think maybe I do...."

I can see John not having the trust in anyone before to allow himself to be tied up willingly. After all, he doesn't much like being vulnerable, does he?
