help_pakistan have announced that the closing time/date for bids has been put back to Sunday August 29TH, 1 PM EST, so there are a few more hours to bid.
I have bids on both my offerings (thank you, lovely bidding people!), which are for one 1000+ word fic and three sets of 5 true drabbles in various fandoms. There's only one bid so far on the drabbles, so two sets are still up for grabs!
If you want to make an offering yourself, you can do so up until around 24 hours before bidding closes.
If you're interested in bidding, all the offers are being tagged at a delicious account, where you can search by fandom and offerer. The mods are now also tagging offers that currently have no bids, if you want to check those out.
I know not everyone can afford to bid or has time to make an offering. I can't afford to bid myself, which is why I'm offering instead. But having experienced the relatively trivial floods we had here in 2007, doing what I can for this particular cause means a lot to me. So thanks for letting me spam your flists about this!
