Held worthy in the City

The City was strange to me: vast and like no place I had known before. Where should I go? What should I do? Then he came to greet me. He taught me the ways of his land, gave me his friendship, brought me in to the heart of his family.

Together we shared evil times, yet there was laughter and joy amidst the grief. Together we strove to aid those we loved; and his strength beside me leant me courage to play my part.

I looked for no such friendship along the way; I was glad indeed to find it.
